Manufacturing Lead
Dyersville, IA
1st Shift: M-F, 7-3:30pm
$17/Hour
 
A local manufacturer is seeking a qualified candidate to oversee their production team.
 
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Evaluate manufacturing equipment for safety and functionality.
  • Ensure that products and goods manufactured meet quality standards.
  • Ensure that work materials are present when needed.
  • Aid in improvement of production procedures, processes and controls.
  • Manage, train, guide and develop manufacturing associates.
  • Design, develop and test all cost justifying machinery, tools and equipment for suggested manufacturing methods.
  • Conduct product and process evaluation for quality improvement, cost reduction and enhanced efficiency.
  • Responsible for non-standard production of special customer products.
  • Provide backup to main line production to support production fluctuations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
