Sedona Staffing is recruiting a
n Accounting Clerk
for a local
company
.
The Accounting Clerk will support daily office and financial operations, including invoicing, job estimate processing, payroll preparation, and general bookkeeping. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a small office environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process customer invoices
- Assist with job estimates and related documentation
- Balance the company checkbook and maintain accurate financial records
- Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting tasks
- Collect and review data from the time clock system to prepare payroll for submission to the company’s accounting firm
- Support HR ‑ related tasks, including understanding basic compliance and employee requirements
- Maintain organized files and records
- Perform additional administrative or accounting duties as training progresses
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Proficiency with QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage confidential information
- Basic understanding of HR processes is helpful
- Strong communication and organizational skills
