Office and Accounting Specialist
 
Shift :  1st Shift 
Location:   Moline, IL  
Compensation :  $ 24-28/hou r
Shift:  8:30-5:00 pm
 
 
Responsibilities :
  • Manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger updates.
  • Support payroll processing and employee  personnel matters .
  • Assist with online banking  processes.
  • Assisting internal team of staff ,  clients,  and attorneys  with a variety of office tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and confidentiality standards.
 
Qualifications & Skills :
  • 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience 
  • Solid understanding of  accounts   p ay able, accounts  receivable  and  general ledger functions.
  • P roficiency in Microsoft  Office;  Outlook, Word , Excel, PowerPoint .
  • Knowledge of one or more book keeping/accounting programs.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication   skills (spoken  and written).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Positive and pleasant customer-service mindset with clients and internal staff.
