Responsibilities:
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
- Performs clerical duties such as emailing, handling paperwork, filing, and making phone calls.
- Screens applications and works with the Director of Human Resources, the Corporate Recruiter, and Hiring Managers to select qualified candidates.
- Helps maintain the department’s high degree of organization and efficiency.
- Schedules interviews for the hiring team.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and Vice Presidents as required/requested.
- Works with the Director of Human Resources, Corporate Recruiter, and Workforce Planning and Community Outreach Manager to research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Responsible for assisting with applicant documentation and retention.
- Attends and participates in job fairs, recruiting sessions, and other career events.
- Communicates and responds to applicants in a timely manner giving them position updates.
- Assists with creating job offers, scheduling pre-hire requirements, and onboarding.
- Performs customer service functions by answering applicant requests and questions.
- Collaborates with Human Resource team to carry out streamlined onboarding and orientation processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Related preferred.
- 1-5 years of recruiting experience , or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Ability to problem solve and multi-task.
- Attention to Detail.
- Communication Proficiency (Oral and Written).
- Limited travel to career fairs is expected for this position.
