Compensation:
The pay rate for this position is:
$45K–$60K/yearly,
depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Liaison between originating team, borrower, underwriter, and closer.
- Provide customers with timely and periodic status updates of their loan application.
- Collect required documentation from applicants and follow up on missing items.
- Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, records, and/or other documents for recurring internal reports.
- Have knowledge of all loan programs and investor guidelines.
- Order, review, analyze, verify, and ensure accuracy of (but not limited to) loan application and data, loan disclosures, income, assets, credit report, title report, appraisal report, purchase contract, AUS findings, and lock agreement.
- Process documents received for each file, verifying the accuracy and completeness of each document.
- Compile documents for customer files and enter intakes to Encompass for processing and assessment.
- Assure that all customer files are complete and in compliance with regulatory agencies and internal policies.
- Prepare and submit loan to underwriting for initial and final approval.
- Maintain pipeline report and notify management of status as needed.
- If applicable, recommend that loan not meeting standards be denied.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years’ processing experience required .
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision .
- Must be a team-player .
- Strong PC skills; must be able to complete data entry with exceptional accuracy .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills .
- Solid attention to detail .
- Must be proactive and reliable .
- Ability to multitask and effectively manage time .
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals .
- Promote a positive team environment through the sharing of knowledge and skills .
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures .
- This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in the office and two days remote.
