Administrative Production Planner

ADMINISTRATIVE PRODUCTION PLANNER

HOURS: 7AM – 3PM

LOCATION: CEDAR RAPIDS, IA

TEMPORARY

We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Administrative Assistant for a temporary position supporting our Production Manager. This is a unique role that combines administrative tracking duties with hands-on support on the production floor.

Responsibilities:

• Scan production coils into inventory throughout the facility 
• Maintain and update spreadsheets tracking calipers and micrometers 
• Monitor calibration due dates for measuring equipment 
• Coordinate calibration by proactively delivering tools to the lab 
• Sign equipment in and out to the appropriate machines 
• Work independently while staying organized and detail-oriented 
• Spend several hours each day walking throughout the production facility 

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and communication skills 
• Basic spreadsheet/data entry experience 
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment 
• Ability to walk for extended periods during the workday 
• Reliable and proactive work ethic 

Position Details:

• Temporary position (not temp-to-hire) 
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM 
• Pay: $20.00 per hour 
• Reports directly to the Production Manager
