Quality Assurance Technician – Multi-Level Opportunities

Monticello, Wisconsin
2nd Shift – 4:00pm – 2:30am
Monday – Thursday (Overtime as needed on Friday)
Wage: $18.00 + / hour (increases as level of responsibilities increase)

We are seeking detail-oriented and reliable individuals to join a local food grade manufacturer Quality Assurance team. This role is structured across multiple levels - with increasing responsibilities and opportunities for growth. On-the-job training is provided—no prior experience required.
 

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and report work practices of production and other employees
  • Ensure proper GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) are being followed
  • Inspect in-process and finished products for quality and compliance
  • Adhere to label compliance policy guidelines
  • Log and report quality holds across the organization
  • Review incoming Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for compliance
  • Conduct residual oxygen testing on products
  • Manage retained product samples
  • Complete pre-shipment reviews
 
Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to follow complex instructions
  • Basic computer and email skills
Education & Experience:
  • GED or equivalent required
  • No prior experience necessary – full training provided
 
Work Environment & Schedule
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in cold environments (33°–65°F)
