Buyer / Procurement – Construction Industry
Location:  Dyersville, IA (on site)
Target Wage: Up to $70,000 / year
Schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift (Days)

 We are seeking a Procurement Buyer to support purchasing and supplier logistics for a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on scheduling materials, managing supplier performance, and supporting production needs while maintaining optimal inventory levels. This is a direct hire opportunity. Meaning, the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and be eligible for company provided benefits.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate daily with suppliers on schedules and releases
  • Schedule and manage purchased materials and inventory levels
  • Expedite material deliveries to support production plans
  • Monitor and improve supplier performance
  • Resolve supplier non-conformance and short-term performance issues
  • Support procurement analysts and internal teams
  • Execute inventory and material replenishment plans using ERP systems
  • Drive continuous improvement in logistics and supplier processes
 
Qualifications
  • Associate degree required (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in purchasing, supply chain, or manufacturing preferred
  • Strong math, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
  • ERP inventory system experience (Epicor a plus)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
