Location: Dyersville, IA
Wage: $28-25/hr

Position Summary
A local employer is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the reliability and performance of production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on die cast and manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and complete timely, effective repairs
  • Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Safely use electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools
  • Support equipment uptime and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent technical education
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Experience using diagnostic and testing equipment
  • Strong attendance record and ability to work independently
  • Effective communication skills and team-oriented mindset
  • Commitment to workplace safety
  • PLC troubleshooting or programming experience is a plus
