Accounting Specialist
 
 
Salary: $ 19 / hr
Location:  Moline, IL
Shift: 1 st  Shift Monday-Friday
 
Sedona Staffing is recruiting for an Accounting Specialist  for a local company in Moline, IL.    This position would  manage all aspects of reciprocity-related financial transactions. This role is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing payments, preparing accurate reports, and maintaining up-to-date financial records related to member benefit reciprocity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be proficient in QuickBooks.   
 
Responsibilities :
  • Accurately post and record incoming reciprocity payments and deposits
  • Process and send outgoing reciprocity payments in a timely manner
  • Maintain organized and accurate records for all reciprocity transactions
  • Prepare and distribute financial reports related to reciprocity activity
  • Reconcile transactions and ensure data integrity
  • Communicate with benefit funds and other unions regarding reciprocity processing
  • Support the finance team with general accounting duties as needed
 
Job Requirements:
  • Associate’s or  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Finance, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is required
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with union or benefit fund operations is a plus
