Sedona Staffing Services is currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic for a full-time opportunity in Waterloo, Iowa. This is a great long-term opportunity with a reputable company that values hard work, reliability, and mechanical expertise.
 
Position Details:
 🔧 Schedule: Monday through Friday
 ⏱️ Hours: Full-time, with potential for overtime
 💵 Pay: Competitive, based on experience
 📍 Location: Waterloo, IA
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and heavy equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and engine diagnostics
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
  • Maintain detailed records of all work performed
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Requirements:
  • Previous diesel mechanic experience required
  • Strong understanding of diesel engine systems
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and read technical manuals
  • Reliable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Must have own tools (required)
  • CDL is a plus, but not required
