Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Production Machine Operator/Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the production process, inspect product quality, and ensure smooth transitions between production cycles. This position offers growth opportunities, a structured schedule, and regular downtime intervals between tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production machines to process products efficiently and accurately.
- Inspect the quality of the finished product to ensure it meets company standards.
- Remove finished products from the machine and load new rolls to begin the next production cycle.
- Monitor and document production activities, addressing any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety guidelines.
- Utilize downtime (8 to 15 minutes between production cycles) effectively to prepare for the next operation or perform other assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality discrepancies.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot machinery.
- Reliable work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts and occasional overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capability to lift and handle materials as needed during roll changes.
