SOLAR PANEL ANALYST/ADMIN
LOCATION: ANAMOSA, IA
HOURS: 1ST SHIFT FULL TIME
Job Summary
The Solar Energy Analyst/Admin is responsible for supporting the planning, analysis, implementation, and administration of solar energy projects within ECG. This role combines technical analysis with administrative coordination to ensure efficient deployment and management of solar power systems.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Analytical Duties
- Analyze solar energy production data and system performance
- Conduct feasibility studies for solar installations (rooftop and utility-scale)
- Monitor and evaluate solar PV system efficiency and output
- Support grid integration studies for solar energy systems
- Prepare technical reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards
Project Support & Coordination
- Assist in planning and execution of solar projects
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and vendors
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
Administrative Functions
- Maintain documentation for solar projects (permits, contracts, reports)
- Manage data records and reporting systems
- Support procurement processes for solar equipment
- Prepare presentations and internal reports for management
Policy & Strategy Support
- Assist in developing renewable energy strategies for ECG
- Conduct research on solar trends, technologies, and policies
- Support sustainability and energy transition initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Systems, or related field
- 1–3+ years of experience in solar energy, power systems, or energy analysis
- Knowledge of solar PV systems and grid integration
- Strong analytical and data management skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with tools like Excel, MATLAB, or PVsyst
- Familiarity with energy regulations and policies
- Project management and coordination skills
- Strong communication and report-writing abilities
