Band   Saw   Operator
Schedule:   Monday   -   Friday,   6:30   AM   to   5:00   PM
Pay:   $16.50/hr   –   pay   increase   after   90   days
Job   Summary:
We   are   seeking   a   skilled   and   reliable   Band   Saw   Operator   to   join   our   team.   The   ideal   candidate   will   be responsible for operating band saws to cut materials to precise specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.

Key   Responsibilities:
  • Operate   band   saw   machinery   to   cut   materials   according   to   work   orders   and   blueprints.
  • Measure   and   mark   cutting   lines   on   materials,   ensuring   accurate   dimensions.
  • Inspect   materials   for   defects   before   and   after   cutting   to   maintain   quality   standards.
  • Perform   routine   maintenance   and   troubleshooting   on   band   saw   equipment.
  • Adhere   to   all   safety   guidelines   and   maintain   a   clean   work   area.
  • Collaborate   with   team   members   to   meet   production   goals   and   deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Previous   experience   operating   band   saws   or   similar   machinery.
  • Ability   to   read   and   interpret   blueprints,   work   orders,   and   measuring   tools   (e.g.,   tape   measures,  calipers).
  • Strong   attention   to   detail   and   commitment   to   quality.
  • Physical   ability   to   stand,   lift,   and   perform   repetitive   tasks   throughout   the   shift.
  • Familiarity   with   workplace   safety   practices.
Preferred   Qualifications:
  • Experience   in   a   manufacturing   or   fabrication   environment.
  •        Basic   mechanical   troubleshooting   skills.
