Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems to help keep production running safely and efficiently.

Essential Duties
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems.
- Repair or replace worn or damaged components.
- Perform basic welding, fabrication, and machine repairs as needed.
- Inspect equipment and identify potential maintenance issues before breakdowns occur.
- Assist with installation, setup, and adjustment of new or existing equipment.
- Maintain and repair facility systems, including lighting, doors, plumbing, and other general building equipment.
- Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and other maintenance equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance requests.
- Follow all company safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and OSHA guidelines.
- Keep the maintenance area, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Work with production and other departments to minimize equipment downtime.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read basic schematics, drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Comfortable using common hand and power tools.
- Basic welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new equipment and maintenance procedures.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move maintenance parts and equipment as required.
- Ability to work around manufacturing machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
