Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in the building industry. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with architects, contractors, and customers to drive sales growth. The position requires approximately 10% travel to meet with clients, attend project meetings, and support business development efforts.

The position requires approximately 10% travel to meet with clients, attend project meetings, and support business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and end customers
- Identify new business opportunities within the building and construction market
- Promote and sell company products and solutions to meet customer needs
- Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with architects and customers to specify products and close sales
- Provide product knowledge, technical information, and support to clients
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, customer service) to ensure customer satisfaction
- Track sales activities, maintain CRM records, and meet or exceed sales targets
- Travel approximately 10% to customer sites, industry events, and project meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the building or construction industry
- Experience working with architects, contractors, or construction professionals is highly desirable
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to understand technical products and translate them into customer solutions
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of building materials, construction processes, or architectural specifications
- Established network within the architectural or construction community
- Experience with project-based or specification sales
