Job Title : CNC Machinist

Compensation:
The pay rate for this position is:
 
  • Pay Rate: $22-28/hr
 
Responsibilities:
CNC Machinist has the following responsibilities and duties:
 
  • Responsible for the set-up and operation of Bridgeports, Manual Lathes, CNC Lathes and Mills to manufacture parts according to blueprints and other specifications.
  •  Responsible for the creation and/or modification of CNC Lathe and Mill programs.
  • Responsible for preventative maintenance for machines and tooling.
  • Set up or assist in set up of machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle.
  • Control and adjust/troubleshoot machine settings. Offsets and Programming.
  • Run Machines as directed by management due to production needs or absences.
  • Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.
  • Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
  • Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
Requirements: 
CNC Machinist should have the following skills, education, and experience:
 
  • Must be able to do offsets, machine set up, programming and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of production procedures, machine shop theory and machine shop mathematics.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
  • Must be able to utilize and read a tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Quality conscious
