Hours :            Monday-Friday,   2 :00   P M   to   10:00   PM,   OT   on   Saturdays   as   needed
Pay:                  19-$22/ hr   to   start   DOE

Job   Summary:
Crouch Staffing Solutions, Inc. is  seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join  a  steel fabrication manufacturing team.   This position involves MIG welding on structural steel support beams and metal components for various applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural welding, blueprint reading, and fabrication techniques to ensure high-quality and precise welds in a   fast-paced environment.

Key   Responsibilities:
 
  • Perform   structural   MIG   welding   to   assemble   and   repair steel support beams and metal components.
  • Accurately   interpret   blueprints,   welding   symbols,  and   shop   drawings   to   ensure   proper   dimensions   and   weld   placement.
  • Inspect welds for structural integrity, accuracy, and adherence to  industry standards; repair defects as needed.
  • Cut,   grind,   and   fit   steel   parts   before   welding   using   torch   cutting, plasma cutting, and grinding tools.
  • Follow OSHA and company safety protocols, wear proper PPE,   and maintain a clean work area.
  • Inspect,   maintain,   and   troubleshoot   welding equipment   to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work   closely   with   fabricators,   supervisors,   and   other   welders   to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
  • Cross   train   and   assist   other departments   as   deemed   necessary   by   Supervisors

Qualifications   &   Requirements:
  • Proven   experience   as   a   welder/fabricator   is   required
  • Proficiency in MIG welding (GMAW) is required; experience with TIG or Stick welding is a  plus.
  • Must   be   willing   and   able   to   pass   a   weld   test
  • Must   be   willing   to   pass   a   drug   test   and   physical   as   a   condition   of   employment
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings   is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity   with   grinders,   saws,   torches,   and   fabrication   tools.
  • Strong   attention   to   detail,   quality,   and   safety   procedures.
  • Ability   to   lift   up   to   50   lbs ,   stand   for   long   periods,   and   work   in   a   manufacturing  environment.
  • Welding   certification   (AWS,   NCCER,   or   similar)   is   a   plus   but   not   required.
This   is   a   temp-to-perm   opportunity   with   growth   potential   for   dedicated   welders.
