Audio Visual (AV) Installation Technician (Entry-Level)

Position Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of commercial AV systems.
• Install displays, projectors, screens, LED video walls, speakers, microphones, cameras, racks, and equipment cabinets.
• Pull, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling including CAT cable, fiber, speaker cable, HDMI, and control wiring.
• Install conduit, cable tray, raceway, and mounting hardware.
• Assemble equipment racks and install wall/ceiling mounted equipment.
• Assist with configuration and testing of AV systems.
• Read basic drawings and installation documents.
• Maintain clean job sites and company vehicles.
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with customers and project managers.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Texas Driver License with acceptable driving record.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to obtain access to Department of Defense facilities.
• Reliable transportation to assigned office.

• Lift up to 75  lbs  independently and heavier items with assistance.
• Climb ladders, work on lifts and scaffolding.
• Work above ceilings and under raised floors.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, and reach throughout the workday.
• Work in commercial construction environments while wearing required PPE.
