Compensation: $60,000 - $85,000 based on skill level

Mechanical Engineer Job Summary: Responsible for designing, developing and inspecting fabrication machines and components used at our facility.
Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
Developing technical plans based on research ideas
Designing products based on the requirements of the company
Carrying out surveys on equipment and various mechanical systems
Presenting design plans to Managers and clients
Producing technical documents that the company requires
Conducting product testing
Overseeing quality control programs and overall maintenance in a facility
Developing CAD project drawings and reviewing drawings from junior team members for accuracy
Completing data logs required onsite
Collaborating with Project Managers and developing accurate accounting of all engineering hours required for various types of internal projects
Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field
- 3 years experience using engineering in a factory setting
- Experience with fabrication, HVAC systems, robotic equipment, CAD and automation
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills
- Experience reading part and machine drawings, schematics, hydraulic and wiring diagrams
- Basic CNC programming experience (preferred)
