Sedona Staffing is seeking
an
Occupational Health & Safety Coordinator
for a local manufacturing company.
The Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the overall health and safety programs
.
Key Responsibilities
:
- Provide first aid and medical care for workplace injuries and illnesses in a manufacturing setting
- Manage workers’ compensation and short-term disability cases, including documentation, case tracking, and coordination with insurers and providers
- Monitor employee recovery and facilitate timely return-to-work strategies to reduce costs and downtime
- Deliver direct treatment of occupational injuries/illnesses using established protocols and escalate cases when needed
- Develop and implement health education, wellness programs, and accident prevention initiatives
- Conduct and support OSHA-compliant safety training and internal compliance programs
- Collaborate with leadership to improve workplace health, safety, and risk mitigation practices
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or occupational health environments
- Valid credential: RN, LPN, EMT, or Paramedic
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights as required
