Sedona Staffing is recruiting a
Financial Advisor
for a local financial institution. The
Financial Advisor
is responsible for providing expert financial advice and tailored solutions to clients. This role involves client relations, marketing efforts, and business growth. The Financial Advisor will stay informed on current laws, regulations, and strategies to ensure compliance and provide the best possible advice to clients.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients regularly to understand their financial needs and goals. Conduct thorough assessments of their financial situations, including income, expenses, investments, and risk tolerance. Develop personalized financial plans that align with their objectives and provide ongoing support to help them achieve their goals.
- Stay informed on current laws, regulations, and strategies to provide expert advice and support. Continuously update knowledge through professional development and industry resources to ensure compliance and offer the most relevant advice.
- Educate staff and clients on investment choices and fund families. Conduct workshops, seminars, and one-on-one sessions to explain complex financial concepts and investment options.
- Research investment options and provide economic updates on demand to keep everyone informed. Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and financial reports to identify opportunities and risks. Share insights with clients and staff to keep them updated on the latest developments.
- Authorize transactions and trades to ensure compliance and performance. Monitor portfolio performance and adjust as needed to optimize returns.
- Decide asset allocation within departments to maximize profitability. Develop strategies for asset allocation that balance risk and reward, considering clients' goals and market conditions. Implement these strategies to achieve optimal portfolio performance.
- Set pricing for financial products and services. Evaluate the competitive landscape and determine pricing structures that attract clients while ensuring profitability for the bank.
- Pursue new business lines or account handling methods to enhance profitability. Identify and explore new opportunities for growth, such as offering additional financial products or services, and improving account management processes.
- Market financial services and work referrals with frontline staff to enhance client acquisition and retention. Collaborate with branch staff to identify potential clients and generate referrals. Develop marketing materials and campaigns to promote financial services and attract new clients.
- Help develop marketing campaigns to promote financial services. Work with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that highlight the benefits of the bank's financial products and services. Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed.
- Conduct branch visits, open new accounts, and engage in outside marketing efforts to attract new clients. Participate in community events, networking opportunities, and other outreach activities to build relationships and expand the client base.
- Develop business strategies to expand the bank's client base and increase market share. Analyze market conditions, client needs, and competitive offerings to formulate strategies for growth. Implement these strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities. Gather and analyze data on market trends, client preferences, and competitor actions. Use this information to inform strategic decisions and stay ahead of the competition.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance , Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of investment strategies, asset allocation, and risk management.
- Proven record of managing financial operations and achieving strategic goals.
- Business development and client advisory experience .
- Strong background in financial reporting, investment monitoring, and transaction authorization.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
