HOURS: 3P-1130PM M-F
WAGE: $20/HOUR
LOCATION: DUBUQUE, IA
Job Summary
The Lead Processor is responsible for overseeing daily processing operations, ensuring merchandise is accurately received, prepared, and routed in a timely manner. This role acts as a working leader, supporting the processing team, maintaining productivity and quality standards, and assisting management with training and workflow coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the processing team during daily operations
- Ensure accurate receiving, ticketing, labeling, and preparation of merchandise
- Monitor workflow to meet productivity and turnaround goals
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the processing area
- Assist with scheduling priorities and task assignments
- Train and mentor new and existing team members
- Troubleshoot processing issues and escalate concerns when needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments
- Model professionalism, reliability, and strong work ethic
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous processing, warehouse, or retail operations experience required
- Prior leadership or lead experience strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer or inventory system knowledge
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
