Talent Acquisition Specialist
(6 month temporary assignment - with possibility to extend)
Shift: 1st shift – Monday – Friday 8:00 – 4:30 PM ( may vary some if needed)
Job Location: Sterling, IL
Compensation:
$ 70,000 range
Job Summary for Talent Acquisition Specialist:
Will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and hiring candidates who can contribute to the success of the company.
Responsibilities for Talent Acquisition Specialist:
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal hiring policies.
• Track and analyze recruitment metrics to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Explore new tools and best practices to enhance talent acquisition.
• Support additional HR initiatives as needed.
* Manage full cycle recruitment for roles in Engineering, IT, Marketing, Finance, Sales and Customer Service.
* Support recruitment efforts for select roles in U.S.
* Create compelling job postings that attract qualified candidates
* Source candidates using UKG recruiting, LinkedIn and creative techniques (Boolean search, networking, referrals)
* Build and maintain a pipeline of talent for current and future hiring needs.
Qualifications for Talent Acquisition Specialist:
* 3-5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in manufacturing, engineering or technical roles
* CHRP preferred
* Proficiency in UKG Recruiting or similar ATS
* Experience with creative sourcing methods beyond traditional job boards
* Strong knowledge of interview techniques and candidate assessment
* Ability to manage multiple roles in a fast paced environment
* Exceptional communication skills, relation building and negotiation skills
