Job Overview
Crouch Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced and dependable Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Waco, TX.
This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
This is a high-hour position (60 hours/week) in a clean, climate-controlled environment, ideal for candidates looking to maximize their income while working in a comfortable setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery including slitters, roll formers, and unwind stations
- Ensure machines are properly calibrated before, during, and after production
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make minor adjustments as needed
- Conduct in-process and final product inspections
- Complete production documentation accurately and on time
- Load and unload materials, trucks, and trailers
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Assist with preventive maintenance and equipment upkeep
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Support team operations and assist with training when needed
- Follow all safety procedures and production standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of machine operator experience
- Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
- Experience with slitters, roll formers, or similar equipment is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to read production and safety documentation
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and stand for extended periods
