Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for picking materials from our warehouse, verifying part numbers and quantities, labeling parts, and packing them into crates. While experience operating a forklift is beneficial, it is not necessary for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick materials from designated locations within the warehouse according to picking lists or instructions.
- Verify part numbers and quantities to ensure accuracy in fulfillment orders.
- Label parts accurately with appropriate identification tags or labels.
- Pack parts securely into crates, ensuring proper protection during transportation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, including aisles and storage areas.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying quantities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not necessary.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
