HVAC TECHNICIAN
LOCATION: DYERSVILLE, IA
WAGE: $25-$40/HOUR
Job Summary:
MM Mechanical is seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
MM Mechanical is seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems, ductwork, thermostats, and related equipment
- Diagnose and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Test system performance and ensure proper operation
- Maintain accurate service records and work documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in HVAC installation and service preferred
- EPA Certification required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying weather conditions
- Knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with residential and commercial HVAC systems
- NATE certification is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
