Appliance Installation Team Lead – Marion, IA
 Pay: Up to $18/hour

Lead a team in transporting and installing household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, and other built-in appliances, in customers' homes according to manufacturer specifications and company standards. Use hand tools and installation equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring every delivery and installation is completed accurately, on time, and with exceptional customer service.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Iowa driver's license with an insurable driving record.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to pass background and reference checks.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience using hand tools and moving equipment preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver, install, and remove household appliances safely and efficiently.
  • Lead dishwasher installations and assist with built-in appliances such as wall ovens, cooktops, microwaves, and range hoods.
  • Test appliance operation, make installation adjustments, and inspect water and gas connections for proper operation and safety.
  • Document installations, collect customer signatures and payments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Train and mentor new Appliance Installer Trainees.
  • Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and customer service standards.
  • Assist with warehouse loading, unloading, and inventory as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Schedule
  • Monday–Friday
  • Typically 7:30 AM–5:00 PM (end time varies based on delivery schedule)
  • 30-minute lunch break
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to complete scheduled deliveries
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent lifting of 50–75 lbs.
  • Standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and moving appliances throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
